Buachaille Etive Mor 2

Buachaille Etive Mor 2 - My Scotland - The Landscapes
This is an iconic mountain, known to climbers and photographers alike as simply 'The Buachaille'. At an elevation of 1022 metres, its pyramid-shape looms before the traveller on the south side of the A82 as they exit Rannoch Moor at the entrance to Glencoe. To get the best view, turn on to the Glen Etive road and stop at the lay-by before the bridge over the River Coupall. Cross the road and walk to the river for the classic shot. Any season, any weather, any time of day, the mountain never disappoints.
